Intent for Forest School

Newtown Forest School has a variety of activities that foster the importance of a risk-benefit approach.  This will enable the children to gain a hands-on experience of the natural environment and understand how to care for it in a sustainable way.  We aim for all to become curious about and have a desire to explore their natural surroundings.  We want all children to be able to succeed in a variety of self-chosen activities, be self-motivated and grow in confidence and independence.
