Intent for RE

Children will become religiously literate by learning about a range of world faiths.  They will develop their knowledge of religions, beliefs practises and different types of worship.  Through enquiry questions, children will draw on their knowledge to form opinions and understand the reasons behind others' opinions.  This will enable them to understand tolerance, respect and individual liberty and become responsible citizens.
